Copper for three-month delivery on the London Metal Exchange rose as much as 0.3 percent to a record $9,975 a metric ton, surpassing the previous peak of $9,968 a ton reached yesterday. It traded at $9,974 a ton by 10:26 a.m. Singapore time.
