Copper drops on increase in inventories.

Copper eased on Friday as a firm dollar capped

sentiments and investors booked profit

after the metal touched a 3 week high in the previous

session

Three month copper on the London Metal Exchange

eased $ 115 a tonne to $ 7750 by 0958 GMT , after gaining

5 % on Thursday when it touched $ 7889 -the highest

since Aug 4.

In copper the focus was on ahefty increase in LME

inventory , hitting a 6 month high at $ 163,800 tonnes

up 4.6 %.

In Shangai stocks fell in ine with expectations,

down 12 % to 21796 tones.
